G-GEL Stability verses Standard Bentonite Clay Gels
Figure A shows standard master gels which have poor exfoliation (some organoclay stacks are still stuck together), poor stability, substantial oil separation over time, poor thickening efficacy, and inconsistant product performance.
Figure B shows our G-Gel™ master gels where the organoclay stacks are fully exfoliated, creating consistent stability, reduces oil bleeding or syneresis, dramatically improves thickening effiacy, and enchances sensory properties.

organically modified bentonite clay. Traditionally used in cosmetic applications as a primary rheological additive to build thixotropic viscosity, Applechem has made them even easier to use, with great advances made in viscosity efficacy, formulation flexibility, and overall product stability. This stability (i.e. no syneresis) is a hallmark of Applechem products, and helps ensure that you have consistent viscosity results from one production lot to the next.
